About Me

My name is Michael Skelton, and you have found my online domain. This site is a cohesive area for me to post things about myself, things that interest me, and various other odds and ends. I was born and raised in the tiny village of Newport in Central New York. I pursued my undergraduate studies at Hamilton College, not far from where I grew up. After graduation, I relocated to Connecticut to embark on a career in Information Technology, specifically, writing software.

Aside from making many new friends here in Connecticut, I also met my wife Amanda. Together we are raising two beautiful, inquisitive and very active (!) daughters. Currently, myself and 3 good friends are working to build our own startup software company called Intelligent Clearing Network. The focus of the project is helping to push the grocery coupon industry, including everything from consumer usage to retailer delivery and settlement, into the digtial age.
